§ 04 — SCIENCE

DHM has demonstrated hepatoprotective effects against alcohol-induced liver injury and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease in rodent models, improving liver regeneration via the miR-155-5p/SIRT1/VDAC1 pathway. It shows senotherapeutic potential by targeting senescent cells through PRDX2, alleviating age-related physiological decline in mice and improving Alzheimer's disease outcomes. Anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects have been documented in colitis and cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury models. However, clinical investigations remain scarce, with most evidence coming from in vitro and animal studies.
