§ 04 — SCIENCE

GHRP-6 has been studied since the late 1980s as a diagnostic tool for assessing pituitary GH reserve, showing reproducible GH stimulation across age groups and metabolic states. Animal studies demonstrate cardioprotective effects, including prevention of doxorubicin-induced cardiomyopathy via upregulation of prosurvival gene Bcl-2 and preservation of mitochondrial integrity. Recent work shows renoprotective potential in acute kidney injury through metabolic reprogramming of tubular epithelial cells. However, human clinical evidence beyond diagnostic use remains limited, and GHRP-6 is not approved for therapeutic use in any major jurisdiction. Most performance and longevity applications rely on extrapolation from animal data and anecdotal reporting.
